The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have announced that every child between the ages of 6 months to 18 years of age should receive an annual seasonal flu vaccine.

Reuters quotes Dr. Anne Schuchat of the CDC as explaining that the agency is "strengthening its recommendations" regarding the vaccination of children against influenza.
