The Twins swapped left-handed relievers on Thursday, outrighting Sean Henn to Rochester and recalling Brian Duensing.
Duensing had been starting in Rochester but the Twins will use him in the bullpen. He made the Twins out of spring training, made one appearance with Minnesota, and allowed three runs in two innings.
Henn was 0-3 with a 7.15 ERA in 11.1 innings. He was ineffective in the month of June, allowing 7 runs in 6.1 innings (9.95 ERA). He struggled throwing strikes (8 walks in 11.1 innings).
The Twins play the Detroit Tigers at the Dome this weekend, with first place in the AL Central Division on the line.
