• Anthony & The Merillo Brothers at Reality Bites Café (100 W. Main St.), 8:00 p.m.
• Club One (3025 Main St.): the resurrection of legendary Dallas Friday nights at Club One continues
• “Date and Dash” speed dating at Mantus Ultralounge: (1520 B Main St.) no cover charge, 9:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
• Social at The Cavern (1914 Greenville Ave.): newest dance night in Dallas with new guest DJ’s every week, 10:00 p.m.
• Destroyer at Granada Theater, 7:00 p.m.
• Slave to the Metal at Club Dada (2720 Elm St.): 8:00 p.m.
• Gloriana at House of Blues, 8:30 p.m.

• Alexandre’s (4026 Cedar Springs Rd.): Robert Stahl (yep, that's me) returns to Friday happy hour from 2p-8p, $3 domestic, wells. Mention this promotion and get Long Island Iced Teas for $2! What a great way to kick off the weekend!

• Galactic at Granada Theater, 7:00 p.m.
• Attack! Attack! At The Door (2513 Elm St.): 8:00 p.m.
• Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros at Palladium Ballroom/Loft, 8:30 p.m.
• Summer Saturdays with DJ Mr. Cooley at Club BLISS (1911 N. Griffin St.): DJ’s spin house music, Mr. Cooley spins after-hours with electronica and mashups, free before 11:00 p.m. and doors open at 10 p.m.
