They Might Be Giants perform at House of Blues Halloween night

Hey, Boo!  It's Halloween weekend in Dallas!  Be sure to check this list of fun events and drink specials before you make your party plans!  

Friday, October 30

Events

  • The Pogues at House of Blues, 7:00 p.m.
  • Butthole Surfers and Peaches at Granada Theater, 7:00 p.m.
  • Brand New at Palladium Ballroom
  • Aaron Watson at Billy Bob’s Texas (Fort Worth), 10:30 p.m.
  • Halloween in the West End: kids can Trick-or-Treat throughout the West End with games, Halloween fun, pumpkin decorating, carnival games and inflatable rides. TGI FRIDAY's costume contest for kids and adults. Live music by CODGER and Model Citizen for adults, 6:00 pm-10:00 pm
  • Club One (3025 Main St.): the resurrection of legendary Friday nights at Club One continues
  • Social at The Cavern (1914 Greenville Ave.): newest dance night in Dallas with new guest DJ’s every week, 10:00 p.m.
  • Grendel with Modulate at Lizard Lounge (2424 Swiss Ave.): w/ Joe Virus and DJ Per, 17+ for this event, 9:00 p.m.

Drink Specials

  • Alexandre’s (4026 Cedar Springs Rd.): happy hour from 2p-8p, $3 domestic, wells. Mention this promotion and get Long Island Iced Teas for $2!
  • O-Bar (1602 Main St.): Friday nights continue, visit early for complimentary drinks sponsored by Skyy Vodka and Tuaca

  • Freakshow @ eXcuses eXtreme (aka Club One, 3025 Main St.):  Paul Kraft Productions brings you a night of chills, thrills, costumes, and afterhours dancing til 4 am, with guest DJ Jaime Sanchez of San Francisco, click here for details, 10 p.m-4 a.m.
  • “Pencil Pushers & Prostitutes” Halloween party at T.A.B.C. (Thomas Avenue Beverage Company located at 2901 Thomas Ave.): DJ starts at 9 p.m.; costume contest starts at 10:30 p.m. with $250 prize for 1st place
  • 100,000 Contract—Impact Worldwide Swimsuit Modeling Competition at The Bone (2724 Elm St.): 8:00 p.m.
  • Summer Saturdays with DJ Mr. Cooley at Club BLISS (1911 N. Griffin St.): DJ’s spin house music, Mr. Cooley spins after-hours with electronica and mashups, free before 11:00 p.m. and doors open at 10 p.m.
  • Halloween “Doggie Style” at Bolsa (614 W. Davis St.): bring your pet to the patio for the pet costume contest, visit on-site pet photographer and pet groomer, 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Shakin Not Stirred at Margarita Ranch (280 Routh St.): dj spins house music, 10:00 p.m.
  • 80’s Night with DJ S.O.U.L.Jah & DJ Titan at The Cavern (1914 Lower Greenville): DJ’s spin electro, fidget, wobbly house and nu-disco 10 pm-2 am
  • The Wake Halloween Party (2616 Commerce): The Wake is an annual Halloween party that is best described as “epic”. The event will feature 7 live bands, 2 DJ's, Halloween Art and Ambience, drinks and snacks, 9:00 p.m. summer
