Looking for some great holiday titles for PC gamers on your list? Here's a list of three highly-rated releases -- and one not-so-highly rated game to avoid.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3
This is a funny and extremely polished real-time strategy game with innovative cooperative multi-player options.

Dead Space
Dead Space is a tense, creepy third-person action-horror game. If you're looking for a game that might make someone soil their pants but keep playing anyway, Dead Space is it.

Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead is an arcade-style, first person shooter that delivers a thrilling, satisfying multi-player co-op action game you'll want to play again and again...and again.

And now here's a PC Game best avoided...

Legendary
I have yet to review this game for myself, but a cross-section of reviews from many game sites confirms it: Legendary = epic fail.

I must admit I had high hopes for that game, and I'm definitely disappointed. This just serves to remind us that once the dust clears from the hype, you're not always left with a winner.
