GOG.com has released some excellent titles courtesy of Rebellion software (who has apparently purchased the IP from Vivendi), including the RTS Ground Control (and its expansion), along with strategy/RTS Evil Genius. Empire Earth: Gold and Lords of Magic: Special Edition will also be available "soon".

Ground Control ($5.99) is real-time tactical game that eschews base-building and resource gathering and focuses on tactical combat -- in some ways similar to tactical miniatures wargames, except in real-time. (Myth is another example of this type of RTS.) Ground Control features a good storyline and tight, combat-focused game play.

Evil Genius ($9.99) is very similar in concept to DungeonKeeper, except instead of playing a wicked DungeonKeeper in a fantasy realm, you take the role of a criminal mastermind intent on world domination (or One. Million. Dollars! Muahahaha). You must build your underground lair, guard it from meddling secret agents (sadly, I don't think there are any sharks with frickin' lasers on their heads), and send your minions to perform acts of infamy across the globe. Evil Genius is very funny and loaded with humor; for example, your interrogators can "torture" captured enemies by moonwalking and doing a Michael Jackson impression.
