Sims 3 goes gold

The EA Sims Studiohas formally announced that The Sims 3 -- possibly one of the most anticipated games in all of PC Gaming and best-selling PC  has gone gold for the PC and Mac. 

The Sims 3 is off to manufacturing and will hit the street in 60 countries on June 2, 2009.

The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition, available at select retailers for $69.99, will include the full game along with an additional collectable 2GB The Sims Plumbob™ USB drive, tips and hints guide and a bonus in-game European-styled sports car unavailable elsewhere.
