Peggle Deluxe and Peggle Nights are both 50% off this weekend when you purchase them through Valve's Steam service -- that's a combined total of 190 ball-bouncing, brick-breaking levels for a meager $9.99.

Peggle is essentially the juiced-up video game love child of Pachinko and Breakout. In Peggle, your goal is to shoot bouncy, ricocheting balls around a screen in order to smash away enough bricks to complete each level.

It takes some clever shooting and bank-shots to break the most bricks and score the most points -- in addition, each level makes use of a wide array of 'magical' balls and other elements to make this simple game surprisingly addictive for adults --  and it's also fun for young children.  My five year old enjoys a good Peggle game now and again.
