Paradox has released a trailer of their forthcoming strategy-action "lite" game Fort Zombie, which is releasing through digital distribution channels this fall.
Fort Zombie started as a small side-project for Kerberos Productions, the studio making the game, but its new take on the Zombie-killing genre seems to have sparked serious interest from fans.
Fort Zombie puts players in the humble town of Piety, Indiana -- now infested by a wave of zombies migrating from a nearby major city. You take control a single building and then build it up to fortify it against zombie attack. In addition, you'll need to embark on missions outside of your fort to acquire supplies and locate survivors.
We are absolutely amazed at the reception that Fort Zombie has received so far. What started out as a fun little side project for us, which was designed simply to give gamers and zombie fans a couple of great laughs along with a great gaming experience, has attracted serious attention from fans of the zombie cult phenomenon even before the game's actual release. We can’t wait until they get a chance to pick up a shotgun and hit the zombie-infested streets of Piety! --Chris Stewart, Kerberos Productions
Fort Zombie will be available this fall for purchase exclusively through all major digital distribution channels for $9.99 and €9.99.
