That's hilarious!
This is my favorite actor joke of all time--so far. My good friend (and actor/singer extraordinaire) Hal Pederson reminded me of it the other day while we were driving. I laughed out loud and nearly went off the road. Could not resist passing it on:
An actor says to his friends at a restaurant: “Good news! I got another callback. My agent says it’s between me and the guy who’s going to get it!”
It was originally a New Yorker cartoon by genius cartoonist Pat Byrnes, but I didn’t include the graphic in this article because the New Yorker, understandably, does not take kindly to people printing their cartoons without paying a hefty royalty. But here’s a link to it if you want to take a gander. A framed print costs $195, but you can get it on a t-shirt for only $24.95.
