The Red Bulls travel to Colorado this Saturday in desperate need of a good performance and a victory. New York is the worst team in the league with just 10 points from 20 games, and is on a shocking 23-game road losing streak. Yet under-fire coach Juan Carlos Osorio is upbeat ahead of the match.

"I am very optimistic as a matter of fact," he told MLSnet.com. "From what I watched this week, if I am honest, the way we have been training, it's no way we are where we are at the moment."

The coach's positive attitude is likely a reflection on the easing of an injury crisis that has plagued the Bulls all season. Key defenders Carlos Johnson and Kevin Goldwaithe are back in training, but not yet available to play, and new Austrian signing Ernst Obster has recieved his visa and should feature Saturday.

Another recent signing, goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul, could also make his debut against the Rapids. In fact Coundoul was recently signed from Colorado, so he would be playing against his old team mates.

"He is in contention," Osorio said of the 'keeper, who is a Bronx native. "He is one of those players who has completed a lot more training sessions. He is looking better and he will relish the challenge to play back in Colorado."

Another positive for New York is the consistent performances of striker Juan Pablo Angel. The Columbian's next goal for the Bulls will place him in a tie with Giovanni Savarese atop the New York all-time scoring list.

"I just found out yesterday," Angel told MLSnet.com. "I wasn't aware of it. I guess it's a great thing to hopefully leave a mark on the history of this football club."

Still, the club captain is more focused on a victory than any personal goal.

"We managed to make history last year, for the first time in franchise history we managed to win a conference championship and we were in the (MLS Cup Final)," he added in the same interview. "Now we're about to make history as the worst team in the league."

"Me personally, I don't want to be remembered for that. I didn't come here to be remembered for playing for the worst team in the league. No way."

To see if Angel can tie or break the record - and lead the Bulls to a much-needed win - tune to MSG-TV on Saturday night. The game kicks off at 9:30 pm ET.
