Meet the Wyman clan. My dad is the proud and awesome
father of four. I don't know how he did it.

Stumped on what to get dad for Father’s Day? Go Queen Anne dad-style with these local gifts. He is sure to love your thoughtfulness.

  1. Take dad to the 38th Annual Fremont Fair: Funky, friendly Fremont is celebrating its solstice festival this weekend. Enjoy the solstice parade, Seattle’s best local artist booths, and a beer garden. This free event is fun for the whole family. Bring a couple bucks to toss in the donation bin to help low-income families.
  2. Get out on the green: There is nothing like strolling the fairways with your pop. Grab the clubs and head out for 9 or 18 holes at Interbay Golf Center. Open daily, 6 A.M. to 11 P.M. there plenty of options for every skill level. Better yet, the forecast for Sunday looks amazing.
  3. Give dad something sweet: Chocopolis is offering a special Father’s Day tasting Sunday from 6 P.M. -8 P.M. for just $25. Learn to use all five senses as you and dad enjoy chocolates from many regions. Dad will even get a take home gift. Be sure to purchase a spot in advance online.
  4. Do Dad’s Day on a budget: I get it. We are in a down economy and we need to save. How about treating dad to a $2 PBR tall boy at Sully’s? After all, some of the best conversations you have with dad has been over a nice cold one.
  5. Make him over, guy-style: Dad looking a little stuck in the 90s? Take him to Oslo’s for a full-man makeover. Offering in-style duds and haircuts, your dad will leave totally updated.
