Some of the best food and wine comes from

Latin America, so why nto spend three days celebrating it? The Latin Food and Wine Festival kicks off tonight  (October 1) at the Plaza Downtown and continues with dancing, drinking, and tasting at Citywalk and The Dellagio.

Thursday, October 1: The festival kicks off with An Evening in Spain at The Plaza Downtown (S. Orange Ave) - a trip for your senses, you will taste food and wine from Barcelona and Madrid, listen to Latin music, and party on the rooftop of The Plaza from 6 pm to 9 pm. Admission is $40 in advance, $50 at the door.

Friday, October 2: Citywalk's Red Coconut plays host to Roast and Runway (7pm - 10pm) - a night of fashion and food. What goes better with fashion than a pig roast? If you ask my Latin mother - nothing. This night will celebrate Latin designer Carlos Alberto - celebrity designer and official haute couture designer for Miss Universe -, the  culture, and the food. A silent auction will be held for jewelry, art, and getaways and entertainment will be provided by award-winning pianist Adlan Cruz. Admission is $50 in advance, $60 at the door.

Saturday, October 3: The festival will go out with a bang at The Dellagio on Saturday evening (4 pm- 8pm) with The Grand Tasting - A night of Latin rhythm, cuisine, beer, and cocktails. With The Dellagio's gorgeous Mediterranean atmosphere and food from fine Latin chefs, you will feel like you left Orlando for the night. Celebrity chefs Chef Guillermo Pernot  and Jen Isham will treat guests to demonstrations of fine Latin cuisine. All the dishes and beverages will be sold for $1 - $5.

This three day festival is sure to delight all of your senses and give you a little insight on the Latin culture. Treat yourself to succulent food, amazing wine, and hip moving entertainment!
