Every year at this time Universal Studios transforms its two parks into separate but equally amazing holiday extravaganzas. All the fun of Grinchmas and Macy's Holiday Parade can be experienced with a 2 park or annual pass. However, if you are only in the market to pick one, read below for an overview of all the holiday magic in store.

The magical Seussland at Islands of Adventure is transformed into the holiday festivity so familiar to Orlando residents, Grinchmas. A winter wonderland is the setting for this live musical performance of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The whole town is filled with singing and dancing Whos as well as a "Whoville Wonky Tree Lot" complete with marvelous holiday decorations.

When is he isn't performing in his well known holiday tale, the Grinch himself is on hand to sign autographs, take pictures, and meet and greet his adoring fans. For an even more personal meeting, have "Breakfast with the Grinch and Friends" at Confisco Grille inside Islands of Adventure. It's a holiday treat not soon to be forgotten!

Over at the Universal Studios side of the park, Macy's Holiday Parade makes it way down the New York streets. Every night at dusk authentic floats and balloons (directly brought in from the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade) fill the streets as marching bands, street performers, and Santa Claus himself put on quite a show for you. The parade is quite an experience and makes you feel like you have been placed right in the heart of New York City for the holidays. After the parade, stay for a tree lighting ceremony like no other.

Other events at Universal Studios this holiday season include Barney's Christmas show, the KidZone Holiday show, and the Blues Brothers Christmas show. The events began December 6 and run through January 1, 2009.

Join many Orlando natives and visitors alike as Dr. Seuss and the magic of Macy's take over the Universal Studios theme parks; there's no more whimsical a way to enjoy the magic of the holidays!
