The City of Winter Park is helping to celebrate Chanukah this Sunday, December 21 at Central Park on Park Ave. at 5 pm. The Chabad of Greater Orlando is hosting this wonderful festival and promises it will be chock full of surprises and fun for all ages.
The celebration will feature the lighting of a giant Menorah, hot dogs, doughnuts/sufganiot, Chassidic dancers, Chanukah gelt, t-shirts, Dreidels, a grand prize drawing of $1,000, and a performance by Israeli rock singer Yoel Sharabi.
Although the city or Orlando seems to be overflowing with other holiday events and festivals this Chanukah celebration is the only one of its kind in the area and is worth coming out for. Enjoy the entertainment, take pleasure in the delicious treats, and have a very Happy Chanukah!
