Stars of The Wizard of Oz highlight latest Warner Archives DVD releases

Warner's chosen highlight for classic film fans this time around would have to be their Stars of The Wizard of Oz 4 DVD Collection which is made up of "Everybody Sing" with Judy Garland, "Flying High" with Bert Lahr, "George White's Scandals" with Jack Haley, and "Rosalie" with Frank Morgan. Individually the single titles are priced at $19.95, but in the bundle you can get all four on sale at $39.95.

But there are other great classic movies available as well including a couple of Myrna Loy titles plus features including Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Ginger Rogers, and others. In all there are 15 new pre-1960 titles available including the 6 DVD Joe McDoakes set which includes 63 shorts at $39.95. Additionally Warner Archives makes available another 14 later titles which are pretty much all Made for TV movies from the 1970's and 80's.

Following is a list of all of the pre-1960 movies in this most recent batch of releases to the Warner Archives:

George White Scandals (1945) starring Joan Davis, Jack Haley, Phillip Terry
Joe McDoakes (63 SHORTS) (6 DVD Set)
Our Miss Brooks (1956) starring Eve Arden, Gale Gordon
Penthouse (1933) starring Warner Baxter, Myrna Loy, Charles Butterworth
Perfect Strangers (1950) starring Ginger Rogers, Dennis Morgan, Thelma Ritter
Pretty Baby (1950) starring Dennis Morgan, Betsy Drake, Zachary Scott
Rosalie (1937) starring Nelson Eddy, Eleanor Powell, Frank Morgan
Ten Thousand Bedrooms (1957) starring Dean Martin, Anna Maria Alberghetti, Eva Bartok
Top Secret Affair (1957) starring Susan Hayward, Kirk Douglas, Paul Stewart
