First, pediatrician Roxana Mayer turned out not to be a doctor, but actually was an Obama campaign delegate and now a real estate saleswoman claiming to be a physician asks Barney Franks softball questions on healthcare reform.
At a town hall in Massachusetts operated by Representative Barney Frank , Ms. Sheila Levitt of Newton MA, claiming to be a doctor, asked Barney Frank some rather soft-ball questions about the controversial healthcare plan.
Only one problem, Sheila Levitt isn’t registered or listed with the Massachusetts Board of Registration on Medicine.
Margery Eagan of the Boston Herald who wrote, "You could call Sheila Leavitt a nutty, annoying, unrelenting Newton [Massachusetts] leftie who home-schools the kids and raises chickens to share eggs with neighbors, not to eat. She is, of course, a vegetarian."
More importantly than her radical agenda is her apparent intent to decieve Americans. The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine lists every doctor regardless of license status. This means that if Ms. Levitt allowed her medical license to lapse it would still be listed with the organization. What this means is that Ms. Levitt most likely was married after the first year of her medical internship and did not complete the necessary two to seven year residency, and as a result never received her medical license.
She is legally an M.D. due to schooling, but is neither a licensed physician or allowed to practice medicine independently in the United States.
The Obama administration is in trouble on healthcare reform, and the President’s elected, non-elected and appointed supporters are doing whatever it takes to further his agenda, whether that means impersonating respectable physicians, falsifying facts or lying about the plan.
It’s time to go back to the drawing board and devise a well thought out plan, performed in a realistic amount of time. If a hastily crafted plan is approved we have nothing to look forward to but severely incorrect cost projections, reduced levels of care, sacrificing the elderly.
An Obama healthcare reform plan would mean that the level of care that Americans we receive will, like Canada’s, slowly degrade to below acceptable levels and as US citizens we will be no better off with real MDs that if we used the doctors who spoke at Sheila Jackson Lee’s and Barney Frank’s town hall meetings.
