The Detroit area is known for the automotive industry and being in this area puts me up close and personal with the cutting edge of the American auto industry.  This allows me to bring you reviews of the newest and coolest sports cars on the market, as well as looking back on the great sports cars throughout history that have helped to create the sports cars that we see today.

However, the Detroit area is also packed full of gorgeous vehicles, from all-original vintage models to one-of-a-kind, heavily modified cars that deserve as much recognition as the new models that I will review.  I think that being the Detroit Sports Car Examiner means more than just reviewing the latest and greatest cars in the industry, so each week I aim to feature a different local sports car; from rare and stock to radically modified.

Check back to see my featured sports car of the week, as I bring you some of the best sports cars the Detroit area has to offer!
