Kimberly Coleman, a wife and mom of two sons, writes and speaks about parenting in the NYC Metro area. She received a BA in History-Sociology from Columbia College in New York and worked in finance and research for eight years. After giving birth to her first son, Kimberly left the corporate world, becoming the New York City & Long Island Major Metro Local Guide for Babyone.com/Parentzone.com. Kimberly has written a weekly family column in the Harlem News, Queens News, Brooklyn News and Bronx News community newspapers. She also speaks about parenting at various events including Babies R Us seminars, a BlogHer Business ’08 conference panel and corporate conferences.She is also the founder and primary blogger at Mom in the City, a blog for moms of preschoolers.
