Monday, June 15th

The Palo Alto Scrabble Club

The club meets on non-holiday Monday evenings, from 6:00PM to 9:55PM at Boston Market Restaurant, 3375 El Camino Real in Palo Alto. All you need to do is just show up. Admission is free, but food purchase is encouraged to "pay" for the space. Players are split into "social" players who play for fun and "competitive" players who play by National Scrabble Association Rules.


South Bay Boardgamers

A large group that meets every Monday in a cafeteria on the Yahoo! campus. The room has plenty of large tables and comfortable chairs. Free soda and coffee is available, but no food. Very friendly to folks looking to learn new games.
 



Tuesday, June 16th

This group meets every Tuesday in the Mountain View Community Center. Check the signs at the front of the center for the room.
 


Berkeley Board Gamers

This group meets in a room in the back of Games of Berkeley, just 1 block from Berkeley BART. Tell the front counter person you are here for the game night and they will point the way. Sodas are available for purchase and there are many cheap food options nearby. The store offers a 20% discount on in-store board game purchases and a 30% discount on pre-orders on game night to anyone who is a member of the meetup (join via the link above)!

Tuesday Night Historical Battles at Endgame

Gamescape Game Night at On The Corner

Every Wednesday, the On The Corner cafe reserves a couple of large tables for gaming in conjunction with Gamescape. Very friendly staff, if a limited amount of play area and time. Good food, coffee, beer, and wine is available for purchase.

Board and Parlor Game Fundraiser for Community United Against Violence

This Sunday, June 21st from 5-8PM the TRANS: THRIVE Community Center will host a board and parlor games party as a benefit for a non-profit LGBTQ safety advocacy group called Community United Against Violence. The event is open to the public, but the hosts are requesting that people RSVP by Wednesday, June 17th in advance with a pledge. The suggested donation is $50, but no gift is too small for a non-profit.  If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Qian at qianian@gmail.com.
