Jesús Soto (Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela, June 5, 1923 – Paris, France, January 14, 2005) was a sculptor and painter and is most famous for his
op art and
kinetic art works. He is considered one of the founders of kinetic art that involves motion and the spectator’s action. His
Penetrables are interactive and ludic sculptures, which consist of square arrays of thin, dangling tubes through which spectator, can walk.
