With the holidays just around the corner it seems that all one ever hears is Christmas, Christmas, Christmas. What about those who don't celebrate Christmas? St. Louis is full of families from many cultures, religions, and backgrounds, including those who celebrate Hanukkah. With Christmas seemingly overshadowing this age old celebration, it can sometimes be hard for these families to find local Hanukkah activities and events. This list of upcoming events is for those who celebrate Hanukkah in St. Louis.

Chanukah at the Botanical Garden -

What: Chanukah: Festival of Lights

When: Sunday, Dec. 2 from noon to 4 p.m.

Where: Missouri Botanical Garden

Cost: Included with garden admission ($2 - $8) or membership. Children 12 and under are free.

Gift Menorah at the Chesterfield Mall -

What: Gift giving menorah

When: Wednesday, Dec. 6th from 6 to 7 p.m.

Where: Playtown entrance of the mall

Cost: Participants should bring an unwrapped gift to donate to the terror victims project (there will be food and activities as well)

Chanukah Bowl -

What: Bowling, food, and Chanukah lighting

When: Saturday, Dec. 8th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Brunswick in Chesterfield, Mo

Cost: Unknown

Hanukkah Candle Lighting -

What: Candle lighting and celebration

When: Monday, Dec. 22nd from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Where: Jewish Community Center, Fox Building

Cost: $9 - $12 per family

What: Hanukkah celebration

When: Thursday, Dec. 25th from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
