Yes, Mr. Smith, this is Matt Grothe calling and I want to thank you for supporting the USF football team and for buying season tickets to our games.

It's Matt Grothe sir, I'm the quarterback for USF.

Well Matt, me and the Mrs. are really excited for the Bulls this year! What are the chances you'll win the Big East title this season?

Okay, so maybe the conversation didn't happen that way but it is a fact that USF football players have been calling season ticket holders and thanking them for supporting the Bulls.
Great idea. Head coach Jim Leavitt has twittered away about it.
The offense has been taking the lead on the phone calls, don't know when the defense will be dialing up the Green and Gold supporters.
Still, great idea, class move.
Now, about that Big East title.....
