George Selvie named in Sporting News elite

There no arguing that USF defensive end George Selvie is an elite player.
He was named the No. 1 player in the Big East by ESPN's Brian Bennett.
Now, Selvie steps further into the collegiate preseason limelight in the latest Sporting News column by Mat Hayes.
Hayes lists his Top 25 college players this year and Selvie checks in at the lofty sixth positon.
"When healthy, he's a disruptive, unblockable force," Hayes says of Selvie.
Note the caveat, "when healthy."
That will be the key to Selvie's and USF's defensive success this coming season.
"How's that fragile Selvie ankle?" No one is quite sure of the answer. Only time and game conditions will tell us exactly what's going on there.
Oh, by the way, who's No. 1 on Hayes' list?
Why that guy in Gainesville named Tebow -- Tim, I believe is his first name.
