Field preparations for the Saturday matchup between USF and Memphis at Tropicana Field are running behind.
Correct. The field is not ready yet.
USF was supposed to practice on Thursday in the dome but the paint on the turf hasn't dried. Overall, they are running behind with field preparation.
USF has been shuttling its team back to Tampa from the beach hotel for practice each day.
Hopefully both teams will log some time in the Fruitdome on Friday, a mere 24 hours before the game.
