Would you use a supplement that came in this blank white bottle? I didn't think so. So, why are you using all the others since none of us really know what's in them.
If you're reading this I assume weight management has been a challenge for you too. Nothing comes easy for us when it comes to maintaining a healthy weight or getting fit and toned. It really sucks, doesn't it! That being said, don't run out and fall for the marketing hype of diet pills, regardless what they're called these days. Keep in mind, if they help you lose weight faster, accelerate fat loss and somehow magically help you with your 'diet' they might work but they're probably not good for you in the long run. Please also take note of the warning signs, such as, "not FDA approved", "if you have a pre-existing heart condition don't take this product" or "if you have family history of kidney disease don't take this product". I hate to spell it out but that would mean there are harmful ingredients in the product.
Ok, I didn't think you would believe me that easily so I tried an experiment for us. I spent a few weeks eating like everyone else. I can't say I didn't enjoy myself but don't get me wrong, I didn't go overboard by eating sweets, pies, pizza and cakes, but I ate what I wanted when I wanted. I dropped the lean and clean routine that anyone who knows me knows I follow religiously and instead I ate what I felt like eating. Yes, I caused my body a bit of damage and slowed down my progress. But, it's ok as it's for a great cause and I'm ready to kick butt to get back on track now. I wanted to prove that diet pills are not magic and going natural is definitely the better way to go. Instead of getting to your goal in 6 weeks why not take 6 months and you'll be even more proud of yourself when you can say you did it on your own.
So, I started out by gaining about 10 pounds and lost sight of some of my hard earned muscle definition in my arms and abs. Then, the test came when I bought some supplements that I thought would get me back on track. I'm happy to report that I had better results on my own. Not only did it not offer me the energy and power it promised but it did nothing to speed up my toning. The results: I wasted my money, lost more time and reminded myself of the bad 'diet & supplement' choices of my 20's that caused me nothing but damage.
Things I looked into and quickly dismissed: QuickTrim, Jillian Michaels products
The one product I tried: beHot by GNC
Over the counter weight loss pills? Do they work? - by Mayo Clinic. An article reviewing the popular weight loss pills and their claims.

Remember: Ads for diet pills feature models who didn't get those hot bodies by using the products being advertised. They are fitness models, people who work out daily and eat right. Kudos to the models, not the products. Trust me, you can have the same results with real food and good old fashioned sweat! Now, back on track I go.
