Do you know how to build a website? Are you a handyman? Can you do car repair work? Are you an experienced accountant? All of us have a skillset in some fashion. There are ways for unemployed people to make some extra money while searching for their next full-time job.

Job.com sends out daily tips to their registered users. Today their tip of the day was about making money while searching for your next job. I thought this was a great point. While some people may already be doing this, some of you may not, so thought it was worth mentioning. There are three core areas that Job.com focused on that we can all leverage to make an income.

Teach What You Know
As mentioned above, we all have a skillset or knowledge base that someone else will find useful or beneficial to them. Make use of your skills while teachign others. Who knows, maybe this will lead to your own little mini-business. Don't be afraid and let your entrepreneur side shine.

Using Your PC
Most of us have a computer or labtop. I bet if you log on to Craigslist Chicago today, you'll find someone needing some basic services done via a computer. Data entry, transcription, or basic accounting services for a small business. These services and more are commonly needed by others who are A)too busy and need extra help or B)don't have the know-how to do it themselves. Best of all, you can do this from home and make money.

Skilled Based Services
Not everyone knows how to repair a car, plan events, do professional photography, etc. If you have a skillset in some of these basic services, even cleaning, why not put it to work? Some people just don't want to do these things themselves and would much rather pay someone else to do it for them. And, if you do a good job, they'll most likely refer you to their friends.
