This is a very easy brie appetizer recipe with just three ingredients and quick preparation.  The only caveat is that this baked brie starter has to be served immediately to your guests.  Warn them about how hot it is, hot honey can be especially brutal on your tongue - but don't let this sit for too long or it will lose the creamy melted goodness that is its trademark.  Warm melted brie with honey and almonds recipe is best served with thinly sliced bagette slices, but crackers will do.  This is a great appetizer for your guests at Thanksgiving.

Warm Melted Brie with Honey and Almonds Recipe

Ingredients:

1 round Brie cheese (8 oz.)

1/3 cup pure honey

1/3 cup sliced almonds

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Slice the top skin off the Brie with a serrated knife.

Discard (or eat) sliced off top and place remaining Brie in small baking dish with cut side up.  Make sure the cheese has ample room to spread out.

Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with almonds.

Bake in the oven until melted and golden - about 15 to 20 minutes.

Enjoy!

For another quick as lightning appetizer, try a peach salsa recipe in the food processor.
