Miley Cyrus plays Thomas & Mack Sept. 26th!
The ever popular pop sensation Miley Cyrus, better known as Hannah Montana and daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, gets set to rock the stage at Thomas and Mack Center on September 26th, 2009!
Miley is kicking off a tour starting September 14th that will be lasting until December 2nd, making Las Vegas her eighth stop. Miley will be singing some of her all time greats from previous albums such as Breakout, along with songs by her alter ego Hannah Montana, like the recently released "The Climb" off of the Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack, which has been getting strong radio play as of late on Mix 94.1 and recently won a MTV Movie Award for Best Song in a Movie. Miley is highly noted from her portrayal of Hannah Montana on the self titled show which can be caught on The Disney Channel with past episodes running nightly and new episodes on Sundays, as well as ABC Kids on Saturdays. The show has been approved for a fourth season in which will be introducing new characters and a possible setting change. As all parents know, Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana tickets can be hard to come by, so it is within your best interest to try and grab tickets as soon as they are on sale for fear of being disowned by your children! In trying to gather as much information I could about the tour, it appears this will be headlining Miley Cyrus herself, and not Hannah Montana, but her fans will still adore it all the same. She will be on tour with Metro Station, famous for their song "Shake It". The band has a close connection to Hannah Montana as lead singer Mason Musso is the brother of Mitchel Musso who plays Oliver on Hannah Montana and Trace Cyrus; singer/guitarist is brother of Miley. The two met on the set of the popular Disney show.
Tickets can be purchased on June 13th (this coming Saturday folks!!!) at www.unlvtickets.com and can be purchased at pre-sale for American Express cardholders starting June 10th. Please note there is a 4 ticket per household limit on these tickets as stated at www.unlvtickets.com. You can also purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.com.
