My apologies in advance to all you Richard Blais fans out there who are still left wondering where this new restaurant will be. I've found that out and a couple of other interesting facts about the new establishment.
First, the address is 1587 Howell Mill Rd. NW Atlanta GA ( Yahoo! Map)
More interesting facts are found in the November press release about the restaurant, including, Richard Blais's involvement. Flip is not exclusively Richard Blais's new restaurant, but rather one of his latest projects. Blais is the Creative Director for the Burger Boutique. According to the press release:
Restaurant industry veteran Barry Mills will open his first restaurant, FLIP, a modern burger boutique this fall. FLIP offers diners more than the basic hamburger, think, “fine dining between two buns.”
“When I first starting visualizing this concept, Blais was the chef that came to mind as the one to modernize the burger,” says Mills. “He is so creative and really complements our concept.”
For all those who love Blais and want more of him, keep on the look out for his new undertakings in 2009. He promises to "get a few serious cuisine projects going."
