Several Santa Clara wineries have special events over the next week and you are invited to stop by the winery, sample the special wines and have a good time.

Clos LaChance Winery – Saturday, October 31, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wine and Halloween Candy Pairings

Taste some fine Clos LaChance wines paired with classic Halloween candy, including 2008 Estate Viognier with candy corn, 2006 Chardonnay with Milky Way, 2007 Pinot Noir with 3 Musketeers, 2005 Special Selection Meritage with Nestle Crunch and 2006 Petite Sirah with Snickers. Tasting fee is $5 per person.

“Cheesehead” Sunday

Satori has just added a big screen TV to their tasting area and, of course, what better to watch on a big screen than NFL football. Since the 49ers game ends at 1:00 p.m. they will have on the Minnesota vs. Green Bay game with Favre back in his old town! And for this Cheesehead game, Satori will be serving up some great cheeses to go with their wines. AND, if the 49ers wine their game, there will be an additional 5% discount on all Satori wines.

Heart’s Fire Winery – Sunday, November 1, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Once-A-Month Wine Tasting

First Saturday Tour
