It is hard to believe that we are just a week away from the first ever Drag Race for a Cure. Patrick must be scared since I know he's been making some runs with his Demon over the past couple of months. As for me, I've been passing the time washing and waxing, polishing my wheels and keeping that rear end nice and shiny since that will be the view Patrick has during the race. I figure why waste my time at the track when I already have this race in the bag. So I decided to focus on making the car look nice and clean for my fans to take some good pictures after I win.

The Demon Hunter ready for a snack!
Just as a reminder the race will be held this Saturday at Lapeer International Dragway. Doors open at noon while Patrick and I will start our races shortly after. The format will consist of a best of three straight up elimination. So all you fans out there will get to see two races, well if you really want to call them that, as I will emerge victorious pretty much without breaking a sweat.
Everything else aside this is for a great cause helping out St. Jude. Once again there will be a donation table setup ready to take donations at will. Anything you can spare to help these kids in need will be greatly appreciated.
Stay tuned to your Detroit Performance Car Examiner and future Drag Race for a Cure champion for more updates as the week progresses.
