Diane Von Furstenberg "Kittine" dress 

June is wedding month and many of us will be in the midst of wedding chaos these next few weeks. Just because you’re not a bride-to-be or a part of the wedding party doesn’t mean that things aren’t just as crazy for you! Finding the right outfit can be just as daunting as the wedding planning itself! Well, okay, maybe not, but it is a tasking duty. Thank goodness for gift registries. Now if only they could tell you what to wear….here are some modern takes on what’s appropriate to don as a guest this season. Satin belted dress, Banana Republic 

Make a subtle, but iconic, statement in a dress like this one from Banana Republic. Its classic cut is fail proof and the tabbed short sleeves and belt add volumes of style without going overboard. A dress like this says you’re modern, sharp and have knowledge for all things fashion. Throw on closed-toed pumps for a strong and sexy look or opt for open-toe to add a hint of playfulness.
