Welcome to part two of my list of 20 gifts under $20. I hope you can find something for that special quilter on your list. You can check out part one for more great ideas.

  1. If your friend enjoys kits and northwoods decor, here's one that will bring a smile - Myron the Moose pin cushion from The Quilting Hen. It's only $12.50 (so you can tuck in some extra little things to bring it up to the $20 limit if you have to) and it includes the fabrics.
  2. What is Christmas without treats? This yummy selection from RJR Fabrics features 7 fat quarters of fabrics featuring cookies and all kinds of candies. You can get it at The Fat Quarter Shop for $19.99.
  3. If your quilts need a bit of embellishing (or if your secret pal is into embellishment), check out the cool buttons at The Material Girls Each strip is only $8.50 and they have everything from cute little bees and a hive to African designs, and delicate flowers.
  4. For art quilters, nothing is better than a package full of fun new embellishments to play with. If your secret pal has gone way beyond buttons, check out Fabric Art Shop . They have packets of Angelina fibers in various colors for $4.50, and
  5. The L'orna Decorative Touch Wand for affixing crystals for just $19.95.
  6. They also have colorful yarns and fibers for just $5.99 / package.
  7. I have yet to meet a quilter who doesn't love Jim Shore's creations. (I used his wedding cake topper at my wedding this past July and everyone loved it.) He has a huge selection of Santas,
  8. snowmen, and Jim Shore Santa ornament
  9. angels, all featuring beautiful quilt patterns and all perfect for Christmas gifts. Just check out this cute Santa with a pear tree and quilted robe!
  10. Last but not least, if you have a friend who you are trying to encourage to quilt, or you have a friend who has sort of fallen away from quilting (it happens), inspire them with a great book that explains (or reminds them) why quilting is a joy all year round. My book, Open Your Heart with Quilting features interviews with more than 30 quilters including Alex Anderson , Caryl Bryer Fallert , M'Liss Rae Hawley , and a foreword by Beth Ann Williams. For only $14.95 you can help open someone's heart to the wonder and beauty of expressing themselves in fabric. If you'd like an autographed copy, check out my website. I am accepting PayPal orders and will toss in a free quilt-themed bookplate from BBD Creations with each purchase. But hurry to get it in time!
