Like every other hobby quilting has its share of quilt-related magazines. Today I’d like to include a list of some of my favorites as well as some that look interesting, but I’ve never actually read. (I’ll have to remedy that soon!) I’m presenting them in alphabetical order so as not to play favorites.
- American Quilter (Put out by the American Quilter's Society, this magazine is full of beautiful and inspiring quilts)
- Better Homes & Gardens Fast & Fabulous Quilting
- Better Homes & Gardens Quilts & More
- British Patchwork and Quilting (I got two free copies from them recently. They feature very detailed photos of each project so they feature more complicated patterns than some of the US magazines I've read.)
- Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting (I buy this one once in awhile - usually when there's something eye-catching on the cover.)
- Mark Lipinski’s Quilter’s Home (My favorite quilting magazine, full of much more than just quilts. I have an article in the November / December issue and Mark said he would review my book in an upcoming issue!)
- McCall’s Quilting (Another favorite of mine. I see something I like in almost every issue, which is pretty rare!)
- Quick Quilts
- Quilt
- Quilts & More
- Quilt Almanac
- Quilt Sampler
- Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine (I've been a subscriber to this one for years. I like the variety of articles, patterns, and information.)
- Quilter’s World
- Quilting Arts
- Quiltmaker
- QuiltMania
- The Quilter Magazine
If you know of a quilting magazine I’ve missed, please let me know!
