To all Wii owners: you are no longer allowed to whine about anything. October 13th is the date when the Wii actually became overloaded with quality games. In addition to the spectacular World of Goo (review right here), the release of Super Nintendo classic Secret of Mana, Nintendo released the next installment of their Art Style series, Cubello.

Just like Orbient, the gameplay revolves around a dirt-simple concept. Connect the same-colored blocks together to make them disappear. That's it. probably the most simplest puzzle game ever thought of. And using the Wii Remote to shoot blocks in the right place, the gameplay sounds boring enough to put anyone in a coma.

And for the first hours, I was nodding off....but I couldn't put it down. Like every great puzzle game, the gameplay is simple enough to grasp and success leads to addiction. Even though any camera control would be nice, the gameplay is engaging enough to keep trying to get those cubes in right place.

Adding to it's simplistic charm is the simple cubed graphics. That's really it: just colorful blocks bunched together. Even the sound is simple: an announcer telling you the color of the block and scant notes of music.

Even the content is simplistically made. There's only 36 levels to play and once you beat them, it's over. Not even the unlockable endless mode is enough to keep most people engaged. But giving it's platform and it's price, these are just middling complaints considering how simple the path to fun can be found in this game.

Grade: B+

The Good: Simple, engaging gameplay The Bad: No camera controls, small amount of content. The Wish: Downloadble levels
