At their press conference, Nintendo addressed a very important issue with the Wii.  In the near future, anybody who downloads anything from the Wii Shop Channel, it will automatically save to the SD card as opposed to the current method of automatically saving to the bulit-in flash memory.  Woo to the hoo!

But Nintendo was nice enough to showcase some new games in both press conferences, like Call of Duty: World at War, which was said to be looking nice. Another new game for the DSi is Mario & Luigi 3.

But probably the two biggest announcements is the reveal of Punch-Out!! and Sin & Punishment 2.  In 2009. On the Wii in North America.

Nintendo also revealed their plan to re-release Gamecube games on the Wii, titled 'Play on Wii', to showcase the fact that Gamecube games can be played on the Wii. The first game on this list is Pikmin.

But honestly, Punch-Out!! and Sin & Punishment 2! The hardcore will stop whining for a month now.
