New Media Atlanta

Whether you are a job seeker, recruiter, HR professional, or entrepreneur, there is no doubt that you have a need to be an active participant in social media.

If you’re not sure how to get started, or you want to learn more so you can take your strategy to the next level, here’s your chance:

ATLANTA – New Media Atlanta: Social Media Business is a conference for business owners that are curious about social media but have not yet made the leap, as well as for those who want to get better at using social media to improve their business. Chris Brogan, President of New Marketing Labs, a new media marketing agency, and home of the Inbound Marketing Summit conferences and Inbound Marketing Bootcamp educational events, will be a key presenter. At New Media Atlanta, Brogan will discuss his new book, Trust Agents, which he co-wrote with Julien Smith.

Other presenters include successful, award-winning marketing executives and entrepreneurs such as Jeff Turner, Nicole Nicolay, Reggie Nicolay, as well as home-grown Atlantans Toby Bloomberg, Carol Flammer and Desiree Scales. The speakers will cover a variety of topics as they relate to social media, including branding, engaging with an audience, customer service and more, and will present case studies and give practical tips and advice based on their work and experiences.

“According to a recent study by the Association of National Advertisers, two-thirds of marketers now use social media,” says Matt Fagioli, Realtor®, social media marketing innovator and conference organizer. Major brands like Coca-Cola, Comcast, Dell, IBM and many others are embracing social media to communicate to their audience on a daily basis. Almost 60 percent of Americans interact with companies on a social media Web site, and 25 percent interact more than once per week according to a 2008 Cone Business in Social Media Study. Fagioli continues, “New Media Atlanta will help attendees, across all business industries and sectors, learn how social media can be used to share company news and happenings, improve customer relations, connect with prospective clients and create new business opportunities.”

New Media Atlanta will teach attendees more about social media and how to leverage its power to build their company, product, brand, service, etc. The conference will allow attendees to meet and learn from a group of real world social media experts. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and get real answers.

New Media Atlanta will be held Sept. 25, 2009 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Georgia Tech Research Institute at 250 14th Street, NW, Atlanta, Ga. 30318. Visit www.newmediaatlanta.com to register and for sponsorship information. For more information, call 678-694-7001.

Hope to see you there!
