When all paths lead straight to Michael, he goes into panic mode and claims that all but one of the rumors were false. Jim outs Pam’s pregnancy when the false gossip quickly gets debunked. The entire office is supportive (sans Angela, who clearly disapproves of the shotgun wedding) and Pam excitedly shows off the ultrasound photo of Baby X.
Michael is miffed by the Jim/Pam pregnancy and asks, “Did you pee on a stick?”
Jim deadpans, “I did. But it was inconclusive.”
Suddenly, the phone rings and Michael hyperventilates because Stanley’s wife is returning Michael’s call. Jim insists that he shouldn’t speak with her. Michael is intent on answering the phone and plans on covering up by asking Teri interior design questions but answers the phone, “Hey, whaddup Cynthia?” Whoops.
Turns out, Michael reveals that Teri was already suspicious of Stanley and Cynthia, as Stanley beats his boss’s car with a golf club.
The camera cuts to Jim as he tapes the ultrasound picture to a photo frame on his desk.
The Office is back!
