"Sky" from Timotej & Miljo

Dear Fellow Sisters and Brothers in Islam:

We have recently entered the month of Rajab, the 9th month in the Islamic-Lunar Calendar.  This month is not only a constant reminder of how close we are to the month of Ramadan (less than two months away!) but it is quite special in its own right.  Rajab, which means "to respect/revere", is listed as one of the four sacred months in a year for Muslims.  The other three being the months of Muharram, Zhul Qadah (Ziqad), and Zulhajjah.

I came upon a very nice flash presentation that serves to educate us about the month of Rajab and the Mairaj (or ascension) that I think most of you will get a kick out of.

You can give it a try here.

A special thanks to the Al-Huda Institute for passing this around.
