Man recreates Noah's Ark hoping to bring back religion

Though the Netherlands does not have an Ann Arbor sister city, like Germany does, this bit of Netherland news was too incredible to pass up.

Dutch creationist Johan Huibers, decided to build Noah's ark in order to reintroduce Christianity to "liberal Holland".  Though the ark is not an exact replica of Prophet Nuh's, or Noah's, in the bible -- he used a different type of wood and his model was smaller -- it is quite stunning in it of itself.  For your viewing pleasure, a slideshow of the awesome ark is included in this article.

Mr. Huibers plans to begin the building of his second ark, this time, the same size and dimensions as Noah's described in the bible.  He says of his first project launched in 2007, "this is only practice".  And he hopes "visitors to my ark will be inspired by the experience and want to read the Bible and learn from it."

Talk about being devoted to one's faith.
