From the remains of the two monorails that collided on July 5 of this year resulting in the death of Austin Wuennenberg, Walt Disney World has built a new monorail train, Monorail Teal, after the new teal pin striping down the center of the entire train. Out of respect for the families of the injured cast members, Monorails Pink and Purple will be retired from the fleet forever.

Although we do not know specifically what changes Disney has made to the operating procedures, we can all rest assured knowing that this new monorail will undergo extensive testing before it begins service later this fall.
