Keys to winning: Dallas Cowboys versus the Philadelphia Eagles
Last night, we looked at one thing the Dallas Cowboys could do to help them win Sunday night when they play the Philadelphia Eagles. Avoid shutdown corner Sheldon Brown.
In the two games the Eagles have lost, against the Raiders and Saints, you can see identical things that occured that resulted in the losses
-
Way too many turnovers. The Eagles have four drives that ended with turnovers in the Saints game. The Cowboys must force turnovers against the Eagles.
-
In both losses, the Eagles did not have a solid running game. No Eagle back rushed for more than 60 yards against either team. Shutting down the Eagles running game helps the Cowboys control the game. Against the Raiders, the Eagles actually had a decent yards per carry stat, but the coaches called just 14 running places. Let's hope the coaches try to air it out against the Cowboys.
Tomorrow, I will review a few other keys to the Cowboys winning.
