The Dallas Cowboys won Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks to go 5-2 on the season. The Cowboys beat a team that many thought was going to be a trap game.
Tony Romo was spectacular, throwing no interceptions for the third game in a row, a first for him. He also threw for three touchdowns and tossed passes to 10 different receivers, including fifth wide out Kevin Ogletree.
The Cowboys seem to be riding on all cylinders at the right time. Next up are the 5-2 Philadelphia Eagles in a game for first place of the NFC East.
However, the Cowboys can't stay with the same game plan to beat the pesky Eagles. Yesterday the Cowboys won with going on long stretches without running the football, passing a lot on first down, stop running the ball in the redzone and an difficult plays that rarely score in the redzone.
In other words, the Cowboys were just the better team.
Not the case this coming week. The Cowboys must run the ball to beat the Eagles.
Revenge is certainly a factor because the Eagles ruined the Cowboys playoffs chances in the final game of least season with a 44-6 drudging.
I will analyze this matchup all week, so visit often.
