Jessica Simpson

I know all fans of reality television are just drooling over the prospect of a new Jessica Simpson based reality show.

Let me be the bearer of good news. Your time has come!

Simpson will return to her roots six years after Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica made her a household name with a 2010 VH1 reality series entitled The Price Of Beauty.

In this docu-series, Simpson will travel the world to meet every day women and pop icons to learn about local fashions, dietary tips and beauty regimens. Shooting will begin this July and most likely will not be sponsored by Chicken Of The Sea tuna.

Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks reunite to bring us the long awaited follow-up to their highly praised (and much deservedly so) Band of Brothers with their new HBO mini-series, The Pacific.

Reported to be the most expensive television production of all time at $200 million, the eagerly anticipated series has big shoes to fill as the follow up to Band of Brothers, which still sells well on DVD and Blu Ray. If The Pacific is even half the series its predecessor was, it will still outshine most of the other programming on TV.

**SPOILER** The Allies win the war.

Finally, just when we all thought it was safe to go back to Heroes, Aint It Cool News reports that the much touted return of writer Brian Fuller was to be only a short stay on the series. Fuller, who scripted some of the best episodes of season one, left to create the offbeat Pushing Daisies. When his new series was canceled by ABC, fans rejoiced as he was headed back to Heroes to save the day. Unfortunately, Fuller cites having a full plate and will be unable to lend his talents to the show after all. Unless someone can come along and save the day to get it back on track, this may be the final season for the faltering show.

For more info: If you haven't seen Band of Brothers, I HIGHLY recommend you pick up a copy. It's riveting television and one of the best mini-series ever (and at a GREAT price on Amazon!). Oh, get the first season of Heroes too as that was the only worthwhile one.
