Whatever golf club his wife Elin was wielding when she put on her cape and crashed the back window of the Cadillac SUV her husband was trapped in at around 2:30 this morning, Elin Nordegren Woods hit a hole in one.
Speculation is that Tiger Woods may have hit his head on the steering wheel when the vehicle he was driving hit the fire hydrant and a neighbor's tree near his home in a suburb of Orlando Florida. It appeared that Tiger Woods may have been knocked unconscious from the impact because he was unstable on his feet and had to be taken to a nearby hospital.
The reports have sought to play down the incident saying Tiger Woods was hospitalized, treated and released. The interesting part of this story is his wife Elin and her response to the crisis.
She called 911 but didn't wait for them to arrive before she took a golf club and broke out the window to free her husband from the crash. Envision Uma Thurman from Kill Bill; that Elin sounds like a good one to have on the team.
Windemere Mayor Gary Bruhn reported that no alcohol was involved and rumors of an argument between the couple had no basis in fact.The speculation on why Tiger Woods was out at that time of the morning and where he was planning to go depends on the imagination of the reader because no statement has been made by Tiger or wife Elin.
When authorities came to the home after the incident today and attempted to complete their investigation by interviewing Tiger Woods directly, his wife Elin told them he was sleeping and they should return tomorrow or another time. She did not offer any further information regarding the accident.
Tiger Woods has supported his family and made a fortune by accurately swinging a golf club. Without knowing how well his wife Elin plays golf, it's likely that well placed club to the SUV window was her best game.
