As always, feel free to leave comments below.

- O’Neal looked solid defensively in the first half.

- Chalmers and Richardson also displayed quick hands.

- Dwyane Wade came to play it the first half; he even showed off his three point touch, going 2-for-3 from distance.

- Richardson ‘s hot shooting carried over from last night’s game. He went 5-for-5 in the first half (3-for-3 from three). Whether or not he can consistently keep the defense honest with his shooting will be a big factor in determining the Heat’s overall success.

- Wright again played significant minutes. He seems to be almost too unselfish on offense as if he’s scared he’ll get pulled for taking a bad shot. Considering his relationship with the Heat staff, that’s a fair assumption.

- The Heat were up 31-17 when Wade went to the bench; when he came back in six minutes later the lead had been trimmed by 8 points (37-31). That’s right math majors, the Heat only scored six points in the six minutes Wade was on the bench.

- Miami needs more from its second unit when he’s on the bench. Hopefully the bench will look better once Cook gets back from injury.

- When Wade isn’t on the court, there’s no reason why Beasley shouldn’t touch the ball in the post every time down the floor. Especially when a smaller player like Caron Butler is defending him.

- More often than not, when Beasley does get the ball, time is winding down on the shot clock and he has to rush his shot.

- Things got chippy in the third quarter, with both teams constantly arguing calls.

- Arroyo looked like Greg Oden out there. At one point he had four fouls in five minutes.

- How good of a WNBA player would Mike Miller be?

- Washington looked sloppy on offense at times.

- Is it too much to ask for a Wade-Beasley pick and roll? I’d run it 20 times per game, but at this point I’d settle for a half dozen. How is this not the go-to play on offense?

- There’s no reason for Haslem to be on the floor at the end of the game when the other team is clearly playing zone defense. If someone like Ray Allen is a zone buster, then Haslem has to be a zone reinforcer. Luckily, for some reason the Wizards switched to man defense for the last few minutes of the game. Thanks, Flip.

- Terrible goaltending call on Wade’s block of Oberto.

- Spoelstra, please explain the logic behind taking Beasley out with five minutes left in the third quarter, if you’re only going to play him for three inconsequential minutes in the fourth.

- The only time Haslem should be on the court over Beasley in the last three minutes of a game is when the Heat are trying to protect at least a ten point lead. Period.

- Again, without Beasley on the floor, it quickly became Wade or bust. Luckily Wade is really, really good.

- I had a feeling that this would be a statement game for Wade: 40 points, 5 assists, and 2 blocks. Thanks for making me look good, Flash.

- If this is a playoff preview, it’s safe to say that it would be one hell of a series.
