Famed Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb made a rare appearance in Old City, Philadelphia yesterday in the form of a cardboard cutout in front of several bars on Second and Chestnut Streets. Crazed fans came from far and wide to get their pictures taken with the former first round pick. "It was pretty exciting," said Jacob Badinski, a long time Eagles fan who happened to be wearing his McNabb jersey at the time, "He refused to give out autographs, but still the man is a legend!" Badinski added.

Many believe that McNabb made the appearance to show his very supportive fans that his recent salary increase will be worthwhile in the coming seasons. The Eagles beat the odds last year and battled through the playoffs, falling just one win shy of the Super Bowl. The cardboard cutout is scheduled to visit numerous spots throughout the Philadelphia area this summer, including a scheduled visit to Temple University next Tuesday.
