So the king of pop is dead.
The same media that vilified Jackson a few years ago is now martyring the former gloved one but the latest reports from Los Angeles indicate that Jackson's personal physician is wanted by the Los Angeles Police Department for questioning.
Speculation is mounting that Jackson suffered a heart attack after taking an injection of Demerol.
Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxman said that Jackson began taking prescription pain medication after his hair caught fire while filming a Pepsi commercial in the '70s and compared the death to that of Anna Nicole Smith. "I warned against this situation. I thought his problem was severe," he told a reporter.
Jackson was gearing up for a world tour that included 50 sold-out concerts in London. Fans purchased 750,000 tickets in less than four hours. Prices ranged from $105 to $1100.
Love him or hate him, the man had talent.
After watching the video debut of Billy Jean and seeing the moonwalk dance step, dance legend Fred Astaire called Jackson and told him he was the best dancer that he ever saw.
Jackson played three concerts at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville in July of 1984.
