Dunedin looks for next senior idol

The City of Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department is holding its 4th Annual Senior Talent Show on Friday, Nov. 13. The event features an eclectic assortment of singers, dancers, musicians, comedians and more from all walks of life from around the Tampa Bay area. The show has had three successful nearly sold-out shows in past years.
Performers include all sorts of talented seniors above the age of 50 vying for prizes from local businesses and organizations. This year's show will be hosted by Charley Belcher, reporter for WTVT Channel 13.
Tickets are $5 in advance and can be purchased at the Dunedin Community Center (1920 Pinehurst Rd.), the Hale Activity Center (330 Douglas Ave) or at the door for $7.
Prizes are being collected from local businesses. If your business has something they'd like to give away, advertising trade-out is available. Contact the show's director at (727) 812-4530.
